Frida Kahlo born Magdelena Carmen Frida Kahlo & Calderon, in Coyoacán, Mexico 1907 was an iconic painter, ultra communist & bisexual Mexican born daughter of a Hungarian Jew & an indigenous Mexican. Plagued by suffering due to an accident in her late teens, Frida used her colourful & at times macabre paintings to deal with her feelings and emotions.
